Palm trees Sacristy Sagrada Família
72 patinated bronze palms that surround the dome of the sacristy of the Sagrada Família on the outside.
In all the palms we polished a series of leaves so that the bronze-yellow color remained in contrast to the green color of the patina given in the foundry.
Afterwards, the palms were protected with OXYSTOP both to prevent oxidation of the bare bronze, and to fix the green patina so that it could not drip on the walls of the dome with the effect of rain and the passage of time. The works were carried out at the Boixader de Banyoles foundry.
