In-situ anodizing of titanium valve flanges to improve their resistance to corrosion.

“In situ” selective Titanium Anodizing Project for a set of delicate parts for the pumping and distribution of hydrocarbons.

A total of approximately 100 pieces with a high demand given the pressure conditions to which they are subjected during the transportation of the hydrocarbon. Protection against corrosion was the key aspect in the work carried out.

The works have been carried out at the AMPO foundry in the Basque Country.
